Global Beauty Tech Forum coming to New York City

The half-day event this June will bring together experts in technology, retail, and media to explore the ways that AI and AR are changing how consumers discover and shop for cosmetics and personal care product.

The Global Tech Beauty Forum—a collaboration between beauty app maker Perfect Corp and talent agency 24 Seven—is set for June 18 at Metropolitan West in New York City.

“We are ecstatic to bring together the innovators across beauty brands, retail, media, and technology to discuss the impact of technology in the consumer experience,” Alice Chang, CEO of Perfect Corp., says in a media release announcing the event.

“The Global Beauty Tech Forum will showcase the latest research and trends that influence consumer behavior and spotlight how brands are adopting advanced technology solutions to drive these enriched, personalized consumer connections,” explains Chang.

The program

The Global Beauty Tech Forum program will include sessions on The Brand Experience Reimagined, The Future of Beauty Retail, Interactive Media – Bringing Your Content to Life, The Future Feed – A Social Media Deep Dive, and The Future of Work. And there will be a Technology Showcase Experience at the event as well, which promises to give attendees “an inside look at the innovative developments in solutions-driven beauty technology entering the market….the interactive onsite experience [is] a chance to try ground breaking beauty-tech solutions firsthand,” according to the media release.

The people

“As talent management partners to some of the most iconic beauty brands, we continually witness the impact of momentous technological change on the beauty business,” Lisa Marie Ringus, executive vice president of global sales and business development at 24 Seven, tells the press. “We are thrilled to join the dynamic panel and offer a perspective to help companies anticipate the talent and skill sets required to dominate an ever-changing landscape.”

At the Global Beauty Tech Forum this June, Ringus will be speaking alongside other industry leaders including Alice Chang, CEO of Perfect Corp.; Stephane de la Faverie, global brand president at Estée Lauder; Gen Obata, VP of global retail experience at  Estée Lauder; Fred Gerantabee, global VP of digital innovation at Coty; Emily Dybwad, associate director of global digital marketing at benefit; Edlynne Laryea, director of global Neutrogena digital transformation and sustainability at J&J; Michelle Pacynski, VP of digital innovation at Ulta Beauty; Joelle Mefford, director innovation at Meredith; Stephen D phelan, CP industry advisor at SAP; and Trevor Summer, CEO of perch.
