By combining the latest modern technology with consumer beauty needs, bgX and Shortcut’s collaboration will help users find and book hair, make up and nail appointments, as well as order professional salon quality products.
Through its new affiliation with Shortcuts, the bgX platform will be able to integrate its systems, allowing customers to search and locate local bgXsalons. Teaming up will enable consumers to check the wider availability of larger product ranges in real time, at their fingertips.
"Nowadays customers are demanding immediate services via their mobile apps and there is a huge demand for beauty services to be delivered in this way,” emphasises Ali Rafi, CEO and co-founder, bgX.
The bgX platform provides customers with an accessible, convenient and efficient way of booking a beauty appointment with an array of prestigious household salon names and sought-after boutiques.
Uber Influence
Previous partnerships also support bgX’s expansion plans. Collaborating with Uber for Business, the beauty tech brand can give customers the ability to receive qualified professional salons products to their door within 30 minutes.
Highlighting the power and potential that the Uber business model has on bgX and revolutionising the beauty industry as a whole, Rafi goes on to say: “The Uber platform has brought huge improvements in transport and food delivery services and the hair and beauty services and on-demand hair care are the next step. Customers are now able to book salons and professional products to their office, home or work direct from their smartphone.”
Strong Collaborations
bgX has also teamed up with Balmain Paris, the leading hair couture name. Luxury leaders in fashion, beauty, hair care, publishing and broadcasting are also amongst those working with bgX. Shiseido, ghd, Vogue, CNBC, Bloomberg and Grazia are some of the brand’s partners.
Hailed as the world’s fastest growing beauty platform, the book on-demand service uses app technology to connect salons with their local communities.
Commenting on the newly-formed alliance and the difference it will make to the beauty user’s experience, Joanna Burgess Co-Founder of Shortcuts enthused: "We're really excited to be partnering with bgX. By integrating our technology platforms we have been able to create a unique and seamless on-demand booking experience for the client, whilst driving efficiencies for the salon."
In a bid to advance its technological capabilities, bgX will use Shortcuts software to help customers improve their business, increase their profits and achieve a work/life balance.
Shortcuts works specifically with beauty brands including hairdressers, barbers, beauty salons, spas and clinics to create a seamless purchasing process.
“The partnership with Shortcuts provides an even more convenient and fast service for busy people on the go,” confirmed Rafi.
