Perhaps the biggest change is the addition of Cosmopack North America to the event, which has been held as a stand alone event in New York for the past few years.
This year is the 17th edition of the event in North America, which is organized by the Italy-based Bologna Fera, and forms part of a portfolio that includes Cosmporf Bologna, Cosmoprof Asia and a joint venture with the Belleza Y Salud event in Colombia.
Look out for Cosmopack
Cosmetics Design brought news of the addition of Cosmopack North America to this year’s event last week, in this article by Deanna Utroske.
Cosmopack is being billed as an event-within-an-event that will highlight everything concerning private label and contract manufacturing, as well as specific aspects of packaging, raw materials and ingredients.
It will also include the factory concept, which will demonstrate a complete supply chain process for a beauty product, from mixing and filling, all the way through to final packaging and boxing.
The show floor will also be devoted to promoting some of the hottest new brands and products on the market, many of them leading indie beauty brands.
New brand and product launches
New launches that will be platformed will included Magic Mud Skincare, new skin care products from BeautyLab and Renovi Face Serum, together with a number of brands focusing on CBD, including 707 Flora and a new skin care line from HempBeauty.
The event will also be showcasing one of the most comprehensive educational programs for the beauty industry professionals that will include Cosmotalks, the Entrepreneur Academy and NSF Education.
The Cosmotalk program features three days of presentation that will include a panel discussion on Green Beauty Brand Building in 2020, with panelists that will include Sarah Jindal from Mintel, as well as one titled Leveraging Facebook & Instagram to Grow Your Brand, which will include Jenna Romero from Winky Lux.
