Held in Bogota at the Corferias Expo, between October 1st and 6th, this massive B2B and B2C event is the one of the biggest in the Latin American beauty professional’s event calendar, drawing an extensive number of exhibitors and visitors from all over the Latin American region, and internationally.
Organizes by the Centro Internacional de Negocias y Exposiciones de Bogota (Corferias, in conjunction with Procolombi, the Camara de Comerica de Bogota and the Camara de la Industria Cosmetica y de Aseo de la ANDI, the event will highlight the latest industry trends, product launches and technologies that the industry has on offer.
More than 70,000 visitors expected
This year the event is expected to again attract more than 70,000 visitors, including beauty industry professionals and consumers from all over the world, who are there to see the latest innovations and product launches on offer.
“We are convinced that the way of the fair is its diversity, that is why we continue targeting the man, woman and young man with or without a beard, blond, brown, with straight, frizzy hair. A Colombian who explores his integral care, faithful follower of trends, but above all that even with his diversity he seeks to be beautiful and healthy,” said Marcela Sánchez Suárez, project manager of the fair.
“Thanks to Bologna Fiere Cosmoprof, our international ally, we can say today that we continue as the first country in Latin America that has such valuable support that it translates into a sample and academic agenda of excellent quality and according to what the current market demands.”
Esthetics educational program
The Esthetic World Congress educational program will last from October 2nd to 4th, and includes nine speakers from Brazil, Colombia, Russia, Chile and Argentina, all focused on the latest techniques and aesthetic treatments.
Topics will include semi-permanent face makeup, abdominal marking, corrective and oncological makeup, head hair implant and eyebrows, intramedical radiofrequency and enzymes.
And the scheduled speakers will include Angela Lange (Brazil), Linda Guerrero (Colombia), Katrina Morozova (Russia), Roberto Burgos from Chile, Jorge Martin Leal from Colombia, Nicolás Leal from Argentina, Gabriel Cubillos from Colombia, Jonas Agnes from Brazil and Jorge Byter from Colombia.
Barber Life International Fest
The barber and hair care segment of the event has always been a big draw and this year it will include the fourth edition of the Barber Battle Bogota, which will see around 200 hair care professionals battling it out for a range of titles that include classic, afro and fast cut.
This segment of the fair will also include knowledge transfer spaces as well as lots of live demonstrations from both Colombian and international guest barbers.
