This year's Belleza Y Salud saw a 10% increase in exhibitor numbers and the organizers were expecting a similar increase in visitors. Here we bring you some of the highlights in this photo gallery dedicated to the event.

This is the 18th edition of the show, which took place at the Corferias event space in the center of Bogota, 2 - 6 of October, and the Cosmetics Design team was in attendance to find out what was buzzing this year.

Corferias teamed up with Cosmoprof Bologna a couple of years ago, and this has served to increase the international scope of the event, but within the Latin American region, and beyond.

A bigger event

This year the number of people attending the event is expected to increase by about 10%, while the number of exhibitors has also increased by the same figure, underlining how popular the event is for businesses, beauty professionals, and consumers alike.

What is serving to attract both businesses and visitors is the fact that the organizers have managed to tap into some of the biggest trends in the industry right now, serving to create a buzz that highlighting some of the most important innovation in the industry.

This year there has been a pronounced emphasis on hair care, keying into trends such as natural formulations and products targeting curly hair, while the barber section of the hair care hall is also serving to showcase the talents of male beauty professionals, while also attracting more male visitors.

And let's not forget the first ever dedicated floor for nail care and nail art, in Hall 8, something you can find out more about by clicking on the gallery above.
