The organizers of the 2020 Expo Pack Mexico event, to be held at Expo Santa Fe, Mexico City, June 2 – 5, say that the event is proving highly popular and that exhibition space is selling out fast.

The event is focused on the needs of packaging providers, highlighting the latest machinery and technologies in a country where an estimated 85% of demand is for products and services is met by foreign companies.

Organizer PMMI also estimates that the demand for packaging machinery in Mexico is growing fast, with annual expansion put at 5% over the past five years, which underlines why the event is proving so popular with exhibitors and is already close to be sold out.

Record attendance expected

At the 2019 Pack Expo event, held in Guadalajara in June this year, attracted a record 17,000 attendees, filling the space to capacity, while more than 700 exhibitors.

The Mexico City event in 2020 will be even bigger, and this year the event organizer is expecting more than 23,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors.

“Suppliers who want to create relationships and establish business in Mexico, realize that participation at Expo Pack México is a must,” said Jorge Martinez, general director, Expo Pack. “Exhibitors have learned that attendees come to Expo Pack México looking for real solutions to reduce time, costs and production cycle, while increasing flexibility and production.”
