Branded Fision GlowPlex, the ingredient uses TRI-K’s NaturePep natural peptide technology, and combines peptides with niacinamide to create a “first-of-its-kind active for skin glow”, said the company in a press release.
The active combines water, niacinamide, Pisum sativum (Pea) extract, and Chenopodium Quinoa Seed Extract.
“The novel combination of naturally-derived pea and quinoa peptides with the proven benefits of niacinamide provides a powerful active, which works via a multi-targeted biological mechanism of action to address complex melanogenesis pathways to enhance skin glow, radiance and evenness,” said Dr. Mihaela Gorcea, Associate Director, Evaluations & Scientific Communications, R&D.
“As part of our ever-expanding Fision portfolio, Fision GlowPlex is the latest innovation that offers consumers an effective tool to realize the skin quality they want by improving multiple skin attributes, including skin glow and luminosity,” added Victor Low, TRI-K Business Manager.
