In an effort to better meet the needs of menopausal women, holistic wellness brand Stripes Beauty founder Naomi Watts has partnered with investment firm L Catterton to support brand expansion efforts.

About Stripes Beauty

Launched in 2022 by actress Naomi Watts, Stripes Beauty is a holistic wellness brand that uniquely caters to the often-overlooked needs of menopausal women. The brand has gained significant traction by offering a range of products specifically designed to support healthy aging and manage menopause symptoms.

Watts, known for her advocacy in women's health, stated in a press announcement, "This is an exciting moment for Stripes Beauty, and I'm grateful to L Catterton for believing in our brand and sharing our vision of supporting women in menopause."

Stripes Beauty has built its following through traditional e-commerce and a significant presence on Amazon. The partnership with consumer-focused investment firm L Catterton aims to accelerate the brand's growth both domestically and internationally.

This collaboration will not only enable Stripes Beauty to expand its marketing efforts, develop new product innovations, and enhance customer service, but also strengthen the sense of community and support that is deeply meaningful to its customers. "Stripes Beauty's mission, products, and community are deeply meaningful to me, and I'm thrilled to partner with L Catterton, who is also dedicated to providing solutions to this underserved community," added Watts in the release.

Partnership with L Catterton

With this strategic partnership, market-leading consumer-focused investment firm L Catterton confirmed its recognition of Stripes Beauty's mission and market position potential. As Whitney Casey, who led the deal for L Catterton, remarked in the press announcement, "We have followed the success of Stripes Beauty and believe in their mission to develop a community of support for women as they age. Further, she added, "we are proud to invest in women and contribute to developing a health platform to address the full range of women's unique lifestyle needs."

The press release confirmed that Stripes Beauty plans to reinforce its market leadership in menopause solutions. The company is set to introduce "The Dream Date," a new sleep support supplement featuring melatonin, magnesium, and red clover designed to improve sleep quality for menopausal women. Furthermore, Stripes Beauty will expand its reach by launching on QVC and entering the Canadian market later this year.

The strategic alliance with L Catterton will be further strengthened under the new leadership of Executive Chair Debra Perelman, former CEO of Revlon, and President Cara Kamenev, former L'Oréal executive. The release confirmed that both bring extensive experience in beauty, strategy, retail, and operations and promise to drive the brand's growth and innovation. Casey emphasized, "Led by a team of strong industry experts, we will nurture and grow the Stripes Beauty brand, its community, and consumer loyalty."
