EveLab Insights’ new Neck AI Skin Analysis technology utilizes deep learning algorithms to assess neck and décolleté skin health with high precision, addressing a growing demand for comprehensive anti-aging solutions and enabling brands to offer hyper-personalized skin care treatments based on detailed skin insights.

EveLab Insights has launched its innovative Neck AI Skin Analysis, an advanced technology specifically targeting the neck and décolleté, areas often overlooked in traditional skin assessments. We spoke to Nick Howard, Director of Global Strategy at EveLab Insights, who shared his insights into how the new feature enhances skin health analysis with a unique focus on aging indicators.

“Our new Neck AI Skin Analysis leverages advanced deep learning algorithms to scan and analyze the neck and décolleté areas with high precision,” Howard explained. He added that this innovation provides “targeted insights into these often-overlooked areas, such as the level of wrinkles,” offering a more holistic view of skin health for consumers and skin care professionals alike.

Addressing a growing demand for neck and décolleté analysis

The inclusion of neck and décolleté analysis was driven by a notable market demand. “This feature has been our most widely requested update, especially among prestige skin care brands,” Howard remarked, highlighting the consumer shift toward a comprehensive skin care approach.

With many brands expanding their offerings to include neck-focused products, the analysis fills an important gap left by facial scans, which Howard says don’t capture “wrinkles and laxity in these areas” due to the unique structural differences in neck skin. By addressing these areas, EveLab’s new feature aims to provide consumers with tailored recommendations and a complete picture of their skin’s aging process.

Advanced grading for precision skin analysis

The Neck AI Skin Analysis employs a sophisticated four-degree system that classifies neck wrinkles across nine specific grades. According to Howard, “This detailed grading system helps beauty professionals recommend targeted treatments for issues like fine lines or deep-set wrinkles.”

He emphasized that the tool doesn’t just assess wrinkle depth but also measures changes in skin texture and elasticity over time, allowing brands and clinicians to offer more refined treatment plans and products.

Beauty brands, spas, and clinicians have already begun integrating EveLab’s Eve V system, which includes the Neck AI Skin Analysis, to offer hyper-personalized skin care solutions. “Brands and spas utilize the Eve V system to create hyper-personalized product recommendations based on real-time skin insights,” Howard explained.

He noted that luxury spas, for example, are able to design “treatment plans by combining the system’s detailed skin analysis with customized facials and neck-focused therapies,” providing consumers with a truly individualized experience. By identifying specific skin issues through the Neck AI Skin Analysis, brands can also refine product formulations to better address consumers’ unique needs.

Driving product innovation and brand partnerships

EveLab Insights’ technology has paved the way for groundbreaking collaborations, allowing brands to enhance their offerings through data-backed insights. “The comprehensive data captured by Eve V is a game-changer for product development,” Howard said, explaining that this data allows brands to understand consumer needs at a more granular level.

EveLab has partnered with global luxury beauty brands, including EFFECTIM, a Shiseido sub-brand, which uses EveLab’s scan data to make in-store product adjustments for clients in Korea. This level of customization underscores the potential of AI-driven data to shape new, highly targeted skin care solutions.

Consumers benefit from the inclusion of neck and décolleté analysis by gaining a more rounded understanding of their skin’s condition. Howard shared that many clients have expressed appreciation for the added insights, saying, “Many clients have shared that this feature helped them identify aging signs they were previously unaware of.”

With this analysis, users can receive personalized recommendations that address these often-overlooked areas, enhancing their overall skin care routine.

Educating the market on AI-driven skin care

Consumer education remains a priority for EveLab Insights, as the company aims to foster understanding and trust in AI-driven skin care solutions. “We believe in empowering both consumers and beauty professionals,” Howard stated, noting that the company invests in training programs for beauty advisors and provides in-depth resources.

This focus on education helps ensure that users fully appreciate the technology’s value and accuracy, strengthening the credibility of AI in skin care.

Looking ahead, EveLab Insights plans to expand the reach of the Neck AI Skin Analysis through additional partnerships and ongoing development. Howard disclosed that the company is exploring ways to incorporate new features for analyzing other body areas, aiming to provide “even more detailed insights into skin health and aging.”

By pushing the boundaries of AI-driven skin care, EveLab Insights is positioning itself as a leader in the evolution of personalized beauty, striving to meet the industry’s and consumers’ growing demand for sophisticated, data-driven skin care solutions.
