As Lycored’s new survey of more than 1000 consumers in the US and UK shows, there is no "one size fits all" approach to beauty. For example, consumers with the darkest skin tones were the most likely to prioritize healthy glow and radiance and natural ingredients when purchasing a skincare product, while avoiding UV damage was a key goal for those with lighter skin tones. But one thing the majority agreed on was that ingestible beauty offers a powerful platform for inclusivity.
